Stop Genocide

Check the Label for Sri Lanka: Boycott Gap and Victoria's Secret

Foreign trade in Sri Lanka is growing since the end of the country's 26 year civil war in May, despite the fact that the government continues to perpetrate egregious human rights violations against ethnic Tamil civilians. Both Gap and Victoria's Secret, along with many other American retailers, conduct substantial business with the Sri Lankan garment industry, investments which help fill the government's coffers.

Businesses respond to substantial consumer pressure. Join Sri Lankan activists in a boycott of Gap and Victoria's Secret -- and let them know about it.

Email Victoria's Secret and call the customer service line at 1.800.411.5116.

Email Gap, Inc. and call headquaters at 1.650.952.4400

Since the regional super powers are not going to slow down in their rivalry, nothing will be done to the helpless innocents. Because even in the WORST ERA that we have just seen, the super powers were only concentrating on their rivalry action.

Because to often we sit back when there are such simple things we can do to make a difference!  I'm also doing it because it's important to a good friend of mine and it's a good cause.

There is no place in Sri Lanka the Tamils can live with peace, dignity & freedom. The profit the SL earns by the sales of garments goes to buy arms to kill more & more innocent Tamil civilians including children, pregnant women & elderly. SL govt will take temporary measures to get the GSP+. Once it received it the story will be different.

Where the fair trade & justice? Can the International communities justify this against the humanitarian violence taking place in SL under close doors?

It is no secret the ruthless Sri Lankan 'Hitler' regime has been comitting crimes against humanity in the name of 'War on Terror'.

In May 2009 alone, more than 20,000 innocent civilians have been mercilessly massacred who gathered inside the 'Safe Zone' designated by the Rajapakshe Morons.

A lot of countries kept a blind eye towards Sri Lanka's open genocide just for the sake of not wanting to brand themselves as 'opponents' and/or as 'white tigers'. Mr.Ban Ki Moon, being the head of the UN, had no nerves to even voice his concerns while the Sri Lankan war mongers have been committing war crimes by intentionally killing hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians including women, children and seniors.

If we take a firm stand in boycotting Sri Lankan products, it will certainly teach many other cruel dictators like Mahinda Rajapakse a good lesson!! Please do not fund dictators; do not create more 'hitlers'. Thank you.

Srilanka has killed more than 20,000 innocent tamils on May 15,16 and 17 in Vanni. This is a massive Human Rights Violation. So please punish Srilanka by not purchasing their goods.
